2026 Elite August prep camp

  • The MK Hockey Company Elite August Prep Camp is designed to give players a competitive edge heading into the 2026-27 tryout season by focusing on advanced skill development and practical game-applicable habits. Through 14 high-intensity sessions, athletes will refine technical abilities like puck control, skating explosiveness, and decision-making under pressure, while also strengthening tactical awareness that directly translates to on-ice performance.

    U18 Elite:(2009’s-10’s-11’s) must have played U15AA,U15AAA,U16AA, U18AA, U17AAA, U18AAA or equivalent

    U15 Elite: 2 Groups (2012’s, 2013’s) Must have played U15AAA, U15AA, U15T1, U13AAA or equivalent.

    U13 Elite:(2014’s, 2015’s) Must have played U13AAA, U13AA, U13 T1, U11AA or equivalent.

    Note: players may be moved up an age group depending on 25/26 experience.

  • $770 includes gst.

    A deposit of half payment $385 is required to secure your spot. Final payment required by July 1st.

    Note: Goalies are free. There will be no direct goalie instruction. High pace shooting and timing. Fridays are full ice game days!

  • Elite U18 8:45-9:45am

    Elite U15 10:00-11:00am (2012’s)

    Elite U15 11:15-12:15pm (2013’s) combine with 2012’s at 10am Fridays for game.

    Elite U13 12:30-1:30pm

    Weekdays, August 4th through 21st @ Bowness Arena

    Note: In order to maintain pace of sessions, U15 groups are currently split into birth years and/or previous playing experience. 

2026 elite U15 spring program

    • 2012’s Must have played U15AAA/AA, or equivalent

    • 17 total Sessions, 2 per week, April through first week of June.

    • 1 Power Skating focused session and 1 transferable skill session per week.

    • Power Skating ran by Matt Clarke

    • All sessions at Bowness Arena

  • $940 includes gst, for 17 1h sessions

WE’RE COMING TO MANNING, AB.

MK Hockey Co. is excited to bring its unique approach to professional on-ice player development to Manning, Alberta, August 24-27th, 2026.

  • The August Prep Camp, running August 24–27 in Manning, Alberta, is designed to help players sharpen their skills, rebuild game pace, and prepare to perform with confidence during upcoming evaluations and tryouts.

    Each 60-minute on-ice session will challenge players to execute with pace, purpose, and attention to detail. The camp’s structure will help athletes regain their timing, improve their conditioning, build confidence, and enter tryouts prepared to compete and make an immediate impact.

  • $200 includes GST.

    Note: This session is included with you registration fee. Goalies are expected to attend all skates in their designated age category.

Open to players of all ages and skill levels throughout Northern Alberta, the August Prep Camp runs August 24–27 in Manning and is designed to help athletes sharpen their skills, regain game pace, and build the confidence needed to perform at their best during upcoming evaluations and tryouts.

A dedicated goaltending coach will be on the ice for every session, ensuring goalies receive position-specific instruction throughout the camp. In addition, all registered goaltenders will also receive one extra dedicated goalie-development session at no additional cost.

To ensure each goaltender receives quality instruction and sufficient repetitions, registration for the regular skill-development groups is limited to the first six goalies per group. Dual-position athletes who register as skaters are also welcome to attend their appropriate age-group goalie-development session at no additional cost. There is no registration limit for the dedicated goalie-development sessions.
